Executive Director
Jonelle Dawkins, she/her
Jonelle Dawkins is a fiber and mixed media artist from Decatur, GA. She studied Fashion Merchandising at UGA and discovered creative reuse during grad school at NCAT. She started as Scraplanta's Executive Director in November 2021 after working at Creative Reuse Center in North Carolina.

Sarah Phoenix (she/her)
​Sarah is a dynamic being who manages Scraplanta's retail and inventory operations with enough energy to power the State of Georgia. She is a proud UGA graduate and the mastermind behind Sarahland Studios. Sarah started as Scraplanta's first Reuse Specialist in November 2022.

Kaliena Bowen
Kaliena Bowen is an Atlanta-based creative director with extensive film and digital media experience. Kaliena brings their strategic prowess to Scraplanta through their inventory optimization practices and social media strategy. Kaliena is the go-to person for Scraplanta's social media and marketing.
Community Coordinator
Symone Gaskin (she/her)
Symone Gaskin is an interdisciplinary artist, connector, and changemaker. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology with a Culture and Social Change Concentration at Kennesaw State University. During her time there, she founded an art collective to empower and uplift local Black and Brown artists. She believes that art possesses a strong unifying power within our current divisive culture.
Reuse Specialist
Barbara McGuire
The woman of steel. Barbara is a blessing to Scraplanta. She was one of ScrapTucker's first volunteers. She is an excellent baker, gardener, and grandmother to Trista and Zoey, of whom she loves to share pictures. She volunteered with us for two year before she became one of our Reuse Specialists.

Connor is an Independent Designer from Atlanta who specializes in upcycled jewelry and accesories. He searches through thrift stores, garage sales and flea markets for his materials. He would be happy to help you plan your next project and brainstorm how to make the most of your stash!
